Lead- Data Scientist/Data Analyst Location: Magpii Innovations,Technopark,Trivandrum

Experience: 8+ Years Role Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a seasoned Lead- Data Scientist / Data Analyst with a minimum of 8 years of experience to lead our data intelligence initiatives. You will be responsible for transforming massive volumes of operational (OT) and enterprise (IT) data into actionable strategic insights. This is role requiring a blend of deep statistical expertise, industrial domain knowledge, AI and ML knowledge and the ability to communicate findings to C-suite stakeholders.

Operational Intelligence : Develop predictive models for industrial use cases, including Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation, and anomaly detection in heavy machinery.

Enterprise Analytics : Analyze complex enterprise datasets (ERP, CRM, Supply Chain) to optimize business processes, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.

Agentic Data Frameworks : Collaborate with the AI team to build "Reason + Act" loops where data insights trigger autonomous agentic workflows.

Architecture Design : Lead the design of scalable data pipelines and "Single Source of Truth" architectures for multi-national industrial holding companies.

Stakeholder Management : Translate complex data science concepts into clear, value-driven narratives for executive leadership and clients.

Mentorship : Guide junior analysts and engineers in best practices for data cleaning, feature engineering, and model validation.

Good to Have • Experience with SQL and cloud data platforms • Exposure to MLOps or AI deployment workflows • Experience integrating AI solutions into business applications • Consulting or enterprise analytics experience

Requirements
▸Advanced Analytics : Expertise in Python/R, SQL, and statistical modeling. • Machine Learning : Strong experience with Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Generative AI : Strong knowledge in Generative AI and implementation of Agentic Systems. • Data Orchestration : Experience with Airflow, Databricks, or Snowflake for large-scale data engineering. • Visualization : Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau dashboards to create "Executive Cockpits." • Cloud Platforms : Deep experience with AWS (SageMaker), Azure (Azure ML), or Google Cloud (Vertex AI).
▸Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field • Experience: Proven track record of delivering data-driven ROI in Industrial, Energy, or Logistics sectors. • Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present "The Story" behind the data. • Mindset: A "Founding Team" mentality—comfortable with ambiguity and driven by building solutions from the ground up.
